#1 New Release: An Affinity for Formaldehyde!
Hey everyone! Woke up this morning to some super exciting news that I honestly didn’t think would be possible, as there have been some excellent releases as of late, and many fabulous things available for preorder.
But An Affinity for Formaldehyde is officially the #1 New Release in LGBTQ+ Horror eBooks!
A special thank you to everyone who made this possible by preordering, purchasing, or sharing a post about the book! To be honest, I’ve had a bit of a rough month, and this is wonderful news.
I’ve been checking out some early reviews (thank you to those of you who are doing that too, good or bad reviews!) and I’ve noticed that some people are a bit surprised by the gore content of this book. While I’m no Aron Beauregard, this is a Grindhouse Press title, so it’s probably darker horror fiction than you may be used to!
There are CWs for the book available here, which is a pretty generalized overview of the worst things you can find in the book. If you want something that’s more detailed, please check out the book’s Storygraph page! Those are more comprehensive and encompass pretty much everything that goes on in the book! My CW pages for each of my books have been updated with a link to the StoryGraph pages as well.
Speaking of other fabulous new releases… here’s another reminder that I’m apart of an incredible anthology called Scissor Sisters, which is releasing next week. This is an incredible lineup of some of the most prolific women in horror, including names like Hailey Piper, Caitlin Marceau, and Mae Murray.
Also, I’m going to give a quick shoutout to my Slashic Sisters: Cat Voleur dropped a book, The Desert Island Game, which was one of my favorite reads of last year. (I blurbed this one, too!)
And Stephanie Sanders-Jacob has a book coming out on February 15th, Pyramidia, which I haven’t read yet, but looks fantastic. Horror blended with an MLM marketing scheme? Incredible. You can check that out here.
